ESC Steel WIDE U Profile EU4

A wide profile pile utilising a robust ball joint clutch, the ESC-EU Series is efficient in terms of weight and installation costs. Suitable for temporary and permanent works. The profile is especially effective in marine conditions where strength and installation efficiency as premium considerations.

The advantages of EU sheet piles include:

  • Clutch provides annular area for effective joint sealing using sealants.

  • Interlocking clutches are located at the outer fibre. This results in an optimized section profile for high strength and low material weight.

  • High Moment of Inertia reducing deflection meeting serviceability requirements

  • Wider profile width reduces handling and installation time with usual driving equipment.

  • Wider profile reduces the number of interlocks required for a set wall run length, improving water-tightness capabilities.

Bent Corners

bent info
  • The slotted pipe clutch can be orientated at any angle allowing almost any corner configuration, without requiring any wastage or additional welding. For internal corners a special piece can be fabricated with little cost due to the flexibility in the cold forming process. Note that the interlocks should be orientated toward the retained side as shown in the following figures.
